History of MD
It was a humble beginning that soon transformed into a roaring success story. In
1989, Mr. Bharat Aggarwal, a young scion of a family with over six decades of experience in the sanitary and hardware business, established the Sheetal Group of companies, with Aquaplast Industries Pvt. Ltd. as its first company. Soon after its incorporation, Sheetal Group entered the market with its first product—a water storage tank, under the brand name Sheetal.
Before long, Sheetal established itself as a brand known for quality and durability. “The best quality every time and any time”—the Group followed this basic principle from day one. It is no wonder that in 1999, Aquaplast Industries became India’s first ISO 9001:2000 certified company in the water storage tanks industry. The well-deserved certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (ISI mark) also proved Sheetal’s supremacy in quality. To match the highest quality
standards and conform with IS:12701:96 (as per BIS requirements), Sheetal Group has its own quality control department, which ensures that with every product, customers get utmost satisfaction and complete value for money.
Owing to the industry-leading quality and the ability to adapt to the customers’ needs, the Sheetal range of products has been approved by almost all government departments, including MCD, CPWD, PWD, MES, etc. With a nationwide marketing network, Sheetal Group is already the trusted supplier of several government departments and institutions.
